A Message to the Student Body:

Hello fellow BKX peers and colleagues!! . I bring you all warm greetings from the illustrious Fort Valley State University located in Fort Valley, Georgia. To begin, I would just like to state how much of an honor it is to serve as your 2011-2012 National Student Body President of Beta Kappa Chi Scientific Honor Society. I am excited and truly looking forward to great and productive scholastic year.

As a current senior Chemistry major matriculating in college I have been a part of BKX for approximately two years now. I was inducted into the society during spring semester of the 2009-2010 academic year.

As president, my vision for this year is geared towards the improvement of scientific awareness as well as increasing student involvement. To conquer this, a number of innovative ideas, thoughts, and suggestions will be brought to the table on my behalf. However, no one woman show will achieve such a challenge alone in just two semesters. I will need aid from the most elite, talented, and creative individuals who surround me daily, YOU! With hard work and effort WE CAN accomplish all that we set our minds to and WE SHALL. With this said always AIM high, STRIVE further, and GO beyond. I love you all and wish you the best of luck during your scholastic year!
